New Data Centre Mechanical Fitout in Winschoten, Netherlands.
Set in the northern Netherlands, the Winschoten data centre forms part of a new generation of large, purpose-built facilities designed to support Europe’s growing digital infrastructure. The development was built to house high-density technical environments where uptime, temperature control, and system reliability are critical.
Creo Mechanical Services carried out the mechanical fit-out for the project, installing the plumbing, heating, and ventilation systems that keep the facility operating within strict environmental limits. In data centre construction, these systems are as important as the IT equipment itself, supporting continuous operation and protecting sensitive hardware.
The project was delivered as part of a wider international build team, with tight coordination between mechanical, electrical, and structural trades. Our scope covered installation, testing, and commissioning of the mechanical services to ensure the building was ready for full operational use from day one.
The Winschoten project reflects Creo Mechanical’s ability to deliver high-spec mechanical installations on complex, mission-critical developments, both in Ireland and across Europe.
